Which Radios do I need?

Picking the right radio is crucial to making you communicate seamlessly and cost effectively, and we are here to help. Generally, the type of radio that you require depends on the size of site that you wish to operate them on.

Leisure Radios (Licence free)

The most basic of packages we offer is the Motorola T5 Twin Pack. These are ideal for anyone who would like to communicate whilst enjoying the great outdoors. At £58 for a set of two, these 'occasional use' and light weight radios suit the needs of most hill walkers, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts who like to keep safe by communicating over relatively short distances. These radios are licence free due to their lower transmitting power.

Licence Free Radios

We can also offer you another licence free radio package which is considerably more practical and versatile than the leisure radios. These are used in thousands of sites across Great Britain and are the favourites of schools, colleges, hotels, small factories and much more. Our licence free radio packages give you a much larger transmitting radius making them a superb form of communication in so many different environments.

Licensed Radios

The main limitation of the licence free radios above is that much larger sites, such as high schools and factories can experience lack of coverage. With a licenced radio package, the radios that we supply you will have between 4 and 5 Watts of power output instead of 0.5 Watts from licence free radios. Base Stations

Some very large sites require more coverage than the licensed radios can provide. A base station fulfils this need. Installing a base station at your premises will greatly improve the transmitting distance, power and quality of your system, making it the perfect solution for large, dense environments.
